Daily Fluff

This week we're going to be checking out otters, so I'll start you out with this cute video!

Final Fox

I seriously found foxes all over the internet this week, so I have to make one more fox related post.  This is a fusion of the French artists Supakitch and Koralie, as they create a wall mural for a Swedish exhibit.  Notice how Supakitch only works on the male and Koralie only works on the female, I found it a very interesting collaboration.

Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes just so happen to go perfect with this weeks fox theme, so I had to post another song.  This time we're listening to Ragged Wood from their first album.  Enjoy!

Daily Fluff

A rumored 150 Arctic Foxes are left in the European Union, leaving it the most endangered in the Fox family.  You can help by not supporting Fox fur in Fashion, or if your willing to throw down some cash for these cuties, you can adopt your own Arctic Fox at The Wildlife Adoption and Gift Center.

Stone Cold Fox

These L.A. based designers know what's up!  Dallas and Cydney were childhood friends, who created Stone Cold Fox give modern fashion a beautiful vintage feel.  Not only do they design and create all their pieces, but if you happen to be in their area, they will do custom fittings and even host parties where you and some friends can try on their work.  Check out their website and their blogs!

Images and videos aren't working today, so I'm going to direct you to a Youtube video that shows how foxes catch their food in the winter time.  It's pretty incredible, I definitely recommend watching the whole Yellowstone Series.  If you have netflix, you can watch it on your computer here.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Fantastic Mr. Fox, adapted from Roald Dahl's novel, is one of my favorite animated movies.  It's not too childish, and it still lives up to my expectations from the book, and of course it has some cussing cool foxes in it! Here's a preview:

This is the Fennec Fox, which is the only kind of fox that can be kept as a pet.

Colors of Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo celebrates the day the Pueblas defeated the French army in 1862.  Today the holiday is celebrated in the US and parts of Mexico with parades and dancing.  I love the colors of the dancers from these US performances.

Friday Night Jams

Tonight we're going down south to the land of the pines with Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show.  This song is supposedly taken from an unfinished Dylan song and transformed into folksy-bluegrass by Old Crow.

Enlightenment Comes Like Shattering Glass

The Chan Buddists of the Song Dynasty believed enlightenment could come at any moment, even during the most mundane tasks.  Here Hui Neng reaches enlightenment while chopping bamboo, so keep your mind open for that moment of illumination.
